K&K are packing up and getting ready to head back down to Tampa tomorrow. Their departure marks the end of our first week of vacation and irronically the end of some pretty bad beach weather. The nice thing about having guests in from out of town is it forces us to do things that we would "normally" not do.
Over the past week we took a whirlwind tour of MA and RI hitting all teh good spots, Newport, Haynnis, P-Town, Nantucket and hit the open seas on my dads boat for some tuna fishing. They forced me to get out of my one track training mind and got me to eat and drink like I was on vacation. Luckily I was able to get in 30 miles or so running to counter balance their influnce.
So we have one day left, with a annivasry dinner and beach bon fire then it's time to enjoy week two of our vactaion with Julie (getting more pregante every day), the dogs and my parents.
I am racing in the Elite mens feild at the Haynnis Sprint II this comming Sat and then swimming for a realy team at FrimMan next sunday.
